MANIFER PRODUCT INFORMATION

Manifer is a software tool for maintenance analysis and management applying the RCM method. RCM is an acronym for Reliability Centred Maintenance, and is a method used to determine the optimum maintenance requirements of a physical asset in its operating context. The RCM method can be used to develop entirely new maintenance regimes or to improve existing regimes where productivity improvements are desired. Manifer can be adapted to reflect most RCM-procedures, thus including the company’s maintenance policy, standards, definitions etc. Manifer was originally developed by MARINTEK as “RCMTool”. Sydvest have now taken over the responsibility for Manifer, however maintaining a close co-operation with MARINTEK on the further development of the tool.
